Difference between Bimini Sands and Bimini Bay 

Located on South Bimini, Bimini Sands includes The Petite Conch, a cozy little restaurant, serves three meals a day, blending Bahamian staples with American favorites. The marina has 60 slips, a fuel dock, a ship's store, tennis, massage, and yoga classes. Customs and Immigration is just 2 miles away at the airport—so boating guests can tie up and clear paperwork without venturing to North Bimini. Besides a great nature trail, Bimini Sands also owns the South Bimini Beach Club with its beach, pool, and three restaurants and bars—and a jazzy-colored bus that starts around 3 pm to take you there for free. The water taxi to North Bimini operates until around midnight (do ask in advance). Boat, golf-cart, and bike rentals are available. The resort is home to Neal Watson's Bimini Scuba Center which offers superb diving and gear, kayaks, and paddleboat rentals at the south beach.

Located at the North end of North Bimini, you'll find Resorts World Bimini, formerly known as Bimini Bay Resort, hence the confusion. Resorts World Bimini has 7 restaurants, 4 pools, a beautiful boutique casino, a full service dive shop / water adventure center, several shops, boutiques, the best beach in the entire island (Paradise point beach) Wi-Fi, free transportation within the property and best of all, both the sea planes and the new fast ferry dock right at Resorts World. North of the resort is Paradise Beach with a bar and grill and water toys for rent: paddleboard, kayaks, paddle bikes.  the airport is located in South Bimini, I would recommend staying in North Bimini, it is only a taxi, a ferry and another taxi ride away, the entire trip from south to north will cost you $10 per person and last about 45 minutes

Resort World Marina Prices do not include 12% VAT.  Fisherman's village Summer rate $3.75/foot, 4th of July week rate $6/foot.  Mega marina summer rate $4.25/foot, 4th of July week rate $6.75/foot. $3.75*30ft*7days*1.12tax = $882 dockage per boat per week.
